The London Bellringing School will be organising more training as part of the Middlesex Association Training Programme, when COVID restrictions permit.
We aim to help with handling issues and to work with ringers moving from ringing alone to ringing with others in rounds, and making first steps into change ringing, e.g. call changes, place-making, dodging, changing speed.
Typically each session starts with individual ringing working on handling technique, often with bells tied (so as not to annoy the neighbours) and later the ringing moves to rounds and other exercises (often with open bells).
Most of the sessions are run by Louise Booth and are supported by a number of friendly ringers from around the area. We encourage ringers from your towers to come with you so that they know what you are doing away from home and so that they can continue to support your progress.
